i just finished
the lucky one by nicholas sparks and i fell in love. it seriously was soo good. i stayed up till 4:30 reading it last night. the main guy is a u.s. marine and i love everything about his character. he radiates confidence and is calm and in control. i would marry him in an instance! he goes to war in iraq and finds a picture of some girl he's never met and because of his best friend, she becomes his lucky charm. and once he gets home he sets off an adventure to find her and they end up falling in love. he has a dog named zeus who i am in love with! i want a dog this caring and obedient. i just love reading, it allows me to completely immerse myself in another world. there's just something about the idea of this different place that i fall in love with.

I will have to add this to my book list, I have been looking for a new book to get into. I am the same way! I always throw myself into the story. Have you read The Last Song? Different from the movie and very good.
it's funny you mentioned The Last Song, i just finished it and i loved it! i'll admit i cried, but it was great.
