today marks 4 years exactly since i moved to washington dc and had the semester of a lifetime...it was hard, stressful, amazing, some of the best 6 months of my life, fun, scary, i could go on forever. we all laughed together, cried together, fought, adventured. and i still have some friends that i plan on having for the rest of my life.
-the "worst" day ever- stamps, washing the foliage, costco, cleaning the pantry
-girls day out-georgetown, the mall, museums, dinner
-tgi friday’s! lisa and michelle!! Looking for the house page
-senate page v house page basketball- shirts off (the boys that is!)
-canoeing in the bay (sena losing her class ring!)
-paddle boating by the memorials
-insubordination!
-star gazing
-kathy and lula
-senator thomas :)
-break dancing in the day room
-mount vernon
-the most perfect Valentines, full of Snow. And No Class.
-mr hampy and webster hall
-literally running for our lives from Union Station to make curfew
-officer law!!and how he knows way too much
-senator’s only room and balcony-naps and sunsets
- "quick like a bunny!"
-late night chats in the closet
-baby powder
-cameron, joe, dan, and greg..kept things funny, haha i love them all.
-dome tour and counting the steps
-staying at the capitol till 2 am with the bill as thick as the fourth harry potter
-the republicans tried to go to dinner 5 minutes early and Robert got all mad and told us we only had a half hour for dinner cause we had a vote that didn't happen for like 2 hours later! and then he came in the back room and told us to put our books away and wouldn't let us study anymore

-the infinite search for the bathtubs! FOUND!
-when the time for co-ed fellowship ended at night and we had to RUN to make it downstairs on time
- cosi's and that place we went to listen to concerts in the basement
-Listening to Katie and Bowers in poli sci
-Cartwheel by union (ripped pants anyone?)
-Running to Washington monument
-Soccer in the park
-Dancing in the rain
-Trying to stay up all night that Thursday
-Free hugs
-“no ice cream!” right…haha
-spinning at star gazing and falling over
-Sneaking in and out of each others room after 11
-Flashcards at Ebenezer’s
-The last night before we left for spring break and taking pictures of everyone
-Stopping in the middle of the street when there’s like 10 minutes to curfew and taking a picture with the capitol then going and getting drinks at Ebenezer’s
-the ladder is a part of life
-revenge is NOT murder
-You really want to know who the heck Thatcher is
this list could go on for hours and hours. DC really was such an amazing time. I would do it again in an instant. I learned some valuable life lessons and made some great friends. I hope all the pages are doing well and that we can all get together sometime soon. I miss you guys so much.
