jerry sloan resigned today. we don't know all the real reasons for him leaving, but we do know it is the end of a legacy.
sloan is a legend. and i don't think any coach in the nba will ever coach as long as he did. he did
unbelievable things with the jazz team for the last
23 years. that is unreal. and not only as an coach, he was also an outstanding player. he was an amazing coach and an outstanding man. there isn't anyone who can fill his shoes or live up to him. he may not have won a championship, but that doesn't even matter. it would have been nice, but he was
beyond successful without the ring. he focused on dedication, team work and hard work rather than just getting the win. he wanted all his players and coaches to be good people and he did amazing things.
Sloan- i thank you for everything and i hope you know how much you will be missed.
