k guys, a quick run down here... my one really big stressor is SLC is really hard to transfer into and so if I reject this transfer it would be minimum of 6 months till i could get back to SLC. And in reality it could be much longer. Who knows when there will be movement into there again. So if I reject it I have to be willing to stay for a while. It would be cheaper for me to live at home and fly with my dad, I wouldn't have to pay rent and I would save a lot of money flying with him instead of taking a loan out and since being a pilot is a life-long dream that is something i have to take into serious consideration. I could fly in Cali, but I would have to get a big loan and spend a lot more money in the long run. Of course, summer in cali on the beach would be amazing. and i am afraid that i will regret going home and missing out on this opportunity. SLC is obviously the end goal. And when I get on as a pilot, I have no idea where that will take me. I also miss hanging out with my sisters and stuff especially while they are still younger and have time. My dad said, I could always live in SLC and have adventures. I have flight benefits and can go anywhere I want.. Best case scenario, I stay here 6 months and then transfer home. Buuuut i think that's wishful thinking. But I also didn't think i'd get this transfer so fast. But also, I am kind of home body and kind of ok with it. I like being with my family and going boating and to the cabin and to ride 4 wheelers and seeing my cousins and all that jazz. And even with flight benefits, it's hard to get home for those things. I like being close to my family and spending time with them, cause we always have a damn good time.
I dunno guys, any honest (not biased) opinions?!

i really value the time i've had to get experience. I would go wherever you could get a lot of real experience. after a year or two then move wherever you want. It seems like the salt lake option is a smarter choice. thinking that you have to pick one or the other is a false dilema. there is a third or fourth option. those options will come down the road once you've had experience and know more specifically what you want to do. wise words from your friend, Deb. :)
