winter is coming and I need to stay warm <3

guys..it's the holidays! no school, no homework, snow, and christmas!! tis great isn't it? i went on a date on monday!! it was so fun!! brian is amazing. he drove down from pleasant view and picked me up and we went to dinner at red robin. when dinner was over we went to his sister's dorm [she goes to the u] and i was able to meet her. she's really cool! and apparently she really liked me which according to brian is good cause she normally doesn't like his date. score one for mckenzie! then we headed down to temple square! we walked around for probably an hour. looking at the lights and laughing and holding hands. we never run out of things to say and i am so comfortable being with him. i can totally be myself and just have fun. [side note...i'm good friends with his roommate daniel, and i was talking to him before the date and daniel told me that brian was going to kiss me at temple square so i was all excited! but he never did...but it's all good cause it will come and we don't want to rush things!] he was going to take me on a carriage ride but they are wayyy expensive so i wouldn't let him. when we left there we drove around the city looking at christmas lights and just talking. i really didn't want him to go home. he leaves for hawaii on friday and doesn't come back till the 2nd...and i am not happy about it. we're gonna fly together one day [he is a pilot as well] and travel the world.

it's both good and bad being home. mostly good. it's good to be with the family and see friends [although i've only seen christine. not ok! i need to see everyone else!!] i miss samir like crazy! and i haven't seen kristin or jocelyn forever! and i haven't been away from ali for this long in a while... bad thing is i have a curfew now and less freedom. but i can handle that for 3 weeks...right? but i love christmas time! it's so much fun! i love singing christmas music and seeing lights and decorations. we have our tree up and i love it!! guys we all need to have a big christmas party this week!...please?!

last night i got to see the girls i coach! love them!! they are my little sisters and we have so much fun together. then i got to play soccer with some of my old teammates. it was way nice to be able to get out and play some soccer. i miss it so much. it went from being my entire life to not being there...that's a huge change and i miss the atmosphere of being on a team and exercising all the time. buuuut pretty much life is great, and i am so h a p p y! and it's almost christmas!!
