my best friend devin left on his mission today. he is my cousin and we grew up together. he's just a few short months younger then me and we have been best friends since he was born. we were even kissing cousins! haha. he's my favorite. we spent this whole last weekend together just hanging out with grandma and his sister brooke, love her. we're the 3 amigos, ask anyone. we made friendship bracelets, got some sweet shades and went to the lake. :] we took devin to the mtc today and i didn't think i would cry but boy did i. i know what he is doing is great and he is going to be an amazing missionary and i'm so proud of him. he's going to eugene, orgeon-so letters won't take too long. and he promised he'd write all the time and i know he will. but i miss him a lot already.

we grew up doing everything together. ranch trips with grandma and grandpa, birthday parties, just everything. you can't help but love this kid. he's like a foot taller than me and just the funniest guy. he's always gotta be doing something, never sitting still, which i love. never a dull moment. we can talk about anything and even though he teases me and brookie all the time he cares and loves us so much and would do anything for us. he's great. and i can't wait for him to get back. we have a road trip to cali when he gets home to go skydiving and i can't even wait.
