chicago.

this was my first trip to chicago and i loved the city! the first night i went to this delicious stuffed pizza place with my dad. SO yummy. i could eat it everyday. the next morning i felt adventurous, i walked out of the hotel alone and had to make my way 40 miles south of where i was. i got on a train, a bus, walked a bit and met up with michelle boyd at u chicago. [she was one of my very best friends at page school] she had a couple classes so i spent most of the day wandering around her campus. i fell in love. it is straight out of harry potter. no joke. i felt like i was in hogwarts. we talked before and between her classes, caught up on the last 2 years since i last saw her, we called a couple of other pages and reminisced about our time in washington dc. it was so nice to remember page school. i miss that place and the people and just the whole idea of it everyday. it made me sad at the same time because i know we'll never be able to go back to how it was there. but it was really good to spend some time with michelle and talk to some of our other good friends across the country. we went downtown and i loved chicago! we went and saw lake michigan, the giant bean, buckingham fountain. it was all really cool. i got up really early the next morning and headed home.


right now i am happy because
-of the phone call i got this morning
-letters from missionaries
-EHWS is going to the quarter finals
-the music i have blasting in my house
-the fact that my best friends are 13 year old girls
-old [and new] pictures
-all the harry potter pictures i found yesterday-i'm in love
