harry potter addict

k so i'm reading the harry potter series for like the bajillionth time [well more like my 9th time through them all.] people always tease me and give me a hard time for reading them so much. but honestly, everytime i read them i discover something new. for example- at the end of the fourth book, after he's seen cedric die, he says something about the horseless carriages. but shouldn't he have already been able to see the thestrals then? cause when he goes to hogwarts in the fifth book, he can see them. another thing is, in the fifth book, they completely skip his birthday. there is no recognition of it. and what about hermione and ron's birthdays? i feel like you don't really hear much about those. i've noticed a bunch of other little things like that. i just love rereading books, there's always something new to learn and notice. so many details you miss reading it the first time. and having read the series, it's fun to read the earlier ones again and notice all the foreshadowing and how everything leads up to the end. it's so exciting to realize those things!

if anyone hasn't seen the trailer for harry potter 7 the deathly hallows, you HAVE to go watch it. it's going to be in 2 parts [i'm going to have to wait till like next july for the second half-that's going to drive me crazy!] but it looks amazing! i have always liked the books better, but as long as i watch the movies without comparing it to the book, i like the movies. but this looks like they'll have most of the book in the movie, without leaving things out. i am in the middle of the fifth book and have to read 6 and 7 before the movie comes out! i have
