went flying with grandpa this morning, i didn't get to actually fly but it was real good to get back in an airplane! and grandpa is the funniest man i've met.
remember david from wai? we haven't really talked in a while and the other day he texted me and it went something like this:
"have you had a crown burger?"
"yes, i have! that's my favorite place. why do you ask?"
"i saw it on the travel channel and it made me think of you."
"that's funny! yeah, i go there all the time, you'll have to come try it."
"yeah, it looked really good! i'll fly out sometime. they also said something weird about this stuff called fry sauce?"
haha it made me laugh. we continued talking and got caught up on each other's flying [or lack thereof on my part...] and he also has free flights so he told me to pick the place and we'd fly there!
..no lake powell this weekend and i'm way bummed :( that is my favorite place on earth, haven't been since last summer and i was really looking forward to it. guess i'll have to wait till next year..but we are probably going to road trip instead and see some national parks.
