i spent pretty much all day yesterday packing. it's so hard trying to decide what to bring and what to leave behind... then i headed up to my grandparents house cause my cousins went home to virginia today. then i had to take savannah home to meet up with an old friend and i stopped by nine square on the way back up. i talked to rosie and samir and it was hard leaving cause i need i wouldn't be seeing either of them for a while...today i got up bright and early and headed up to logan. i drove my bug which maxed out at 55 mph going up the canyon. i got to my dorm got checked in and started unloading the truck. me and ali got there at the same time and our room was such a mess. you don't realize how much stuff you have until you pack and unpack it. it took us awhile, but we were finally able to get everything organized and clean and put away. and now we're stuck with a bunch of boxes. i watched secret life which wasn't very eventful tonight, but next week will be! we talked to max and john and austin and sarah. but our dorm is pretty sweet. my roommates are all way chill. mine and ali's room is way tight. and san juan is so sweet. everyone gets along right away and i already know so many people.
but saying all this, i don't have any idea what i'm doing. tomorrow we start this connections class and my essays suck and i don't really know my way around campus at all and i am not ready to start school. it really hasn't hit me how much i miss people, but it will. it will all come crashing down soon... but then school...and aviation classes and i don't have books and i don't know where any classes are and they are gonna be super hard and ah i dunno. but despite the fear...i think college is gonna be an experience to remember.

you dork of course you're going to remember college. it's gonna be at least a little like high school but with no parents and living with your friends! do you think it could get any better than that? it's gonna be hard to get going and get over being away and get into school work, but trust me, it's gonna be awesome.
