lovely you, lovely me

this week has been one of my favorites of summer. in all honesty, i didn't do much. but still it's been fun. spent most of it with rosie, tyler, nick, and russell. which are probably 3 of my favorite boys! plus a few others. but tuesday was another night at nick's. we just sat and laughed and nick did the funniest dance to jump on it! it was epic for sure. thursday i spent most of the day in logan doing things for school this fall. i'm really excited to go to USU. especially with ali. me and rosie went to tyler's house and hung out with the boys. they made fun of me for having a "mckenzie moment" but i do have to admit it was pretty stupid on my part! friday i went to IKEA with rosie and her family. it is 7-11. their birthday! Free slurpees! yay! we got 5! and stole some cups. we went to costco and printed some pictures. and drove in my car. singing. extremely loud. some of my favorite times are just me and my best friends driving in the car, and singing at the top of our lungs. it's just so fun. we went swimming too and played this sweet game we made up! then that night was one of my favorites of the summer. we watched hot rod and just listening to nick laugh made the movie ten times better. i'm not going to say too much because most of you have already heard the stories. but it consisted of my, rosie, tyler, nick, and russell driving around, [boys with no shirts] music turned up loud and dancing with random strangers. :) definitely a night to remember. and today was kristin's birthday! happy birthday girl! i love you!! fun party! swimming and zoolander which is a pretty funny movie.

friends. i know we all talk about them a lot. and it probably gets old. but i just want to say that i really love my friends. we don't have to go out everynight, we're content just sitting at my house watching tv doing nothing at all. and we can be together and not say a word. just sit on the couch or the bed and say nothing. and it's not one of the awkward silences. we're happy. we have each other. we don't need anything else. also, we can finish each others thoughts. or read minds. or i dunno. we always just have some connection. just a look and we know what the other is talking about. it's great. don't think guys always like it! but we always think of fun things to do, whether it's swimming or ambushing or who knows what, but we always seem to have a good time even if people do think we're crazy. and we have each others backs. always. and we take billions of pictures. so thanks to my best friends. :)
